Transforming Grief of Illness through the Lens Mindfulness


Start where you are, with the emotional, physical and mental challenges that illness and grief bring for you. I will not ask you to avoid or ignore what is here.

I will gently invite you to recognize what is here, and work with the difficulties emotions of grief and illness.

Your Guide, Yasemin Isler


Yasemin Isler,has been supporting individuals living with a wide range of chronic, rare and terminal illnesses and their caregivers for over ten years.

Founder of Center for Grief and Loss, Yasemin is a grief, resilience, mindfulness and compassion expert. scholar, educator and guide, certified end-of-life doula and integrative thanatologist (study of death, dying and bereavement), and a hospice volunteer. She is a full time core faculty in Mindfulness Studies Master’s Degree program at Lesley University.

She has been teaching and guiding grieving individuals, families and communities since 2014.

In her personal life, Yasemin has experienced numerous illnesses of loved ones, have been a caregiver and also lives with a chronic illness herself.
